Those who their fodder has singled them out with bounties

3. With the immaculate group, all of them
You see those who are fortunate amongst them, I am fortunate with the spoils

4. The destitute became rich from the magnitude of what transpired
And the fires in my heart are exacerbations of afflictions

5. Upon what has transpired, oh what has transpired in our lands
Something transpired that confused the hearts of all worlds

6. It was an ember that is extinguished by the dew
And no more does a flooding torrent extinguish it

7. The first opening of misfortunes passed through Haidah
And afterwards struggles ensued, oh Father of Worries

8. Al-Hariri mobilized the Turks and the Persians
And Jamil Pasha, leader of the army, decisive

9. They pitched their tents upon the ruins of Ta’ara
On a black day like the night of calamities

10. The tribe of Ma’rouf attacked them from every side
Like lions seeking spoils

11. There transpired a day of their aggression which you speak of
Oh how much we lost every enemy engaged

12. Afterwards it became a fine and they reconciled
And the fire kindles when the gentle breeze blows

13. After nine months, a period of misfortunes
In Karak, if you were aware and understanding

14. Regarding the matter of the Qur’anis, we destroyed their homes
They said fulfilling the debt, oh people, is necessary

We prohibited their cattle, furniture, and livestock

16. It became the cause of a formidable army
And the kindling of its timber and pillars and posts

17. Became Jerb in Jeljar a blazing plain
They built military barracks, a cavalry

18. So they may fear those wearing turbans
Misleading them until they conceal the blood between us

19. You see that Satan constantly stirs evil
Afterwards ibn ‘Izam mobilized banners

20. Upon Busra before noon and shooting standing
It became the cause for building a great fortress

21. Perhaps those of insight may smell the aroma
And much did the government concede and forgive

22. Until conflict ceases between all worlds
Afterwards they raised banners and mobilized

23. Upon Al-Musmiyah until they obtain spoils
They equalled the enmity of all other people and Arabs

24. I swear this was not necessary
The clan of Bani ‘Uthman rejoiced drinkers of wine

25. They said the Sulut are our relatives, steadfast
Until they fulfilled their desire from the land of Shari’ah

26. With a lofty fortress and its tower standing tall
Before it in Baraak they built ‘Umairah

27. Until the Druze accomplish the necessary matter
And there was no person amongst us who accepts advice

28. Oh God protect all worlds
Afterwards enmity occurred between some of us

29. Like predators and our evil ever-present
And no sect except they bit flesh and found out

30. From a sect and evil poles standing
We remained upon this course all of us

31. No one’s mind free of worries at times
Until the light of the new Shari’ah emerged

32. Curse its founder and partisans
The laypeople who blindly followed it

33. Became the destruction of our lands and wastelands
They became like Yihya Qaisam in his abode

34. And ally those of fortunes, enemies
Oh what my eyes see the day they look upon their crowds

35. Horses and riffraff, and majority are livestock
They specialize in methods of missing you, their absence

36. Vile talk from faces of germs
Without the Bedouins of Buthaina and drifters

37. A day transpired in ‘Araaji the blood flows
The day of Suwaidah was a tremendous day

38. From early morning to the mixing of darkness
And Bani ‘Um’um fled from every monastery

39. Like predators seeking projectiles
And it was decided that we exile from our lands

40. We left, we all left necessities
When their corruption immersed all villages

41. They said it seems there is no resisting
Afterwards an army came upon the land of Suwaidah

And the Sheikhs said oh Lord return them

43. Stem the blood in the pledge of all necessary

44. They all returned the response after consultation
There is no one amongst them who we reproach

45. On Thursday morning he dragged the mules

54. And for every request they said the Sheikhs refuse
And Sheikh Kul today is no longer necessary

55. No more, many Sheikhs, we are sufficient
And we subjugate the lofty by sword strike

56. And second request they said this palace is our right
And our Sheikhs have become like enemies

57. Third request they said all holdings
And the Sheikh, he was an oppressor, unjust

58. And harassment and goading oh people occurred between them
On all fronts, evil poles standing

59. They instituted wicked rotten customs
And followed the path of heroism and darkness

60. Amongst them, one says so-and-so is my client
He fell and sought refuge in the home by sanctuaries

61. And amongst them, one says so-and-so is my short one
He entered what do you mean he escaped from defeats

62. And upon the holdings they enlarged the doors of their homes
And the villages became places where wolves prowl

63. They abandoned farming and bought horses for raiding
No longer any ploughing the land without spoils

64. Thieving and looting neighbours became way of life
In order to register illegitimate incomes

65. And village folk deemed their wealth permitted
They say all this is obligatory tax

66. We have legal documents registered
In them ibn ‘Uthman the past and seal

67. And the command of good and forbid evil was suspended in our religious affair
The Shuyukh of Sufi orders have prohibited with sanctuaries

They do not carry out the orders of our lands

69. The matter of religion they did not erect pillars
It lost integrity and there is no solution

70. And riffraff the thieving when they halt to rest
And the mountain was lost short of all sects

71. We became despised oh dignified faces
The proverb said, from abodes they departed and settled

72. So stand guard oh people of intellect and insight
If the Lord of the Throne willed to strike down a tribe

73. They followed the path of heroic darkness
As for the one who covered all events

74. The new Bey who summoned us urchins
The nobleman Za’ur rose after the alliance

75. He connected the path of Shuqra in mixing darkness
And upon returning to the people of Kahil on the road they betrayed

76. The people of ugly faces confronted him

And the raid of Najran arrived at Da’il

82. There occupation with striking necks and swords
The people of Salakhid panicked upon Kahil in haste

83. Without slaughtering cattle, the enemies departed fleeing
The people of Najran rose panicked and mobilized

84. From here to Bayyar the Sanctuaries
Everyone decided, may God thwart their evil

85. They ceased the movement and misfortune withdrew
We lost youths that day lions

86. Hyenas have funerary processions for them
They burned Hirak and demolished its walls

87. Remaining smoke rising to the sky standing
And burned other villages in its vicinity

88. Oppression upon the people of fortunes, enemies
The women of ‘Ubaitha descended and migrated

89. To Damascus, they tore their dresses for shelter
And all the people of councils consulted

90. And secretly plotted against us all worlds
And the decision in their opinion was to eradicate our kind

91. And they announced commands of war and banners
Bani ‘Uthman, Damascus, and the Arabs allied

92. Sarkis and Kardughli we faced in collision
They brought mules that tread the sand and pebbles

93. Like locusts upon crops assailants
And pitched camp for sixty nights in Shamskin

94. And came to Quraisah and children of worries
The first crescent of month, a skirmish occurred

95. And warfare in the night after darkness
Second crescent of month, an awful clash

96. Burning villages and demolishing ruins
Third crescent of month, they took Mashriq

97. As the torrent no shelter from the East fasting
And descended upon the land of Muzayri’ah in our lands

98. And the fires of affliction and torment ignited
There transpired a day the likes of it never occurred

99. Not even the old folklore told of it
From dawn until the setting of sun in the sky

100. And the night entirely war standing horsemen
Oh how many we lost every sturdy adversary

101. The innocent weep for them, black clad in mourning
Oh what loss upon the people of integrity and dignity

102. They wake greedy without necessary
From Muzayri’ah he camped upon land of Suwaidah

103. And settled like clouds bound by gentle winds
And the mountain submitted after it disobeyed

104. He carried possessions atop greater than darkness
First demand they said animal feed

105. Barley, hay, lentils morning necessary
Bring firewood, bring coal for the troops

106. Burghul, meat stew, and soup frozen
Sixty nights and demands standing

107. Consuming us like years of misery
Second demand they said the sheep are our right

108. We have become without doubt examples of sanctified
They went around all our villages without lack

109. And captured chiefs capture of spoils
And when were all imprisoned in Suwaidah

110. To Damascus we came despised germs
And when we reached prison in humiliation and agony

111. The blood in all wards flowing
And not long until they repealed our exile

112. And your youths to the military compatible
And some in Izmir and amongst them Bursa

113. When they dispersed us in oceans of darkness
Afterwards the burden became heavy upon people

114. They demanded money from years old
They counted the lawful and surveyed all the land

115. And we became like the people of dawn to darkness
Tax collection pulls the good from us

116. And they fleece us like sheep shearing
Saying meat with butter and coal alike

117. Without this, their immodesty with insults
Sarkis and Kurds and closed box of Turks

118. No, they did not spare Houran for resurrection sleeping
Oh Lord if guidance is in your tablets

119. Oh Lord, oh Ruler over all rulers
By sanctity of the Prophet, honor of land and heaven

120. And the four poles, people of resolve

Destroy the homes of those who sought our destruction

123. And befall their riffraff and sanctified
Oh Knower of the unseen who hears my grievance

124. Because you are aware of intention of servant
And deliver us from abode of Turks and Khazars

125. People of disbelief, atheists, germs
And I conclude my words with the truthful and his companions
