1. If my night is prolonged and the stars darken in the sky
My eyes will surely not disappear, their stars will not set

2. My eyes stay up all night, never sleeping
Even if their lids itch, they won’t blink

3. My eyelids have refused the pleasure of sleep
Oh, my right eye, I swear by God, excuse it

4. I swear by God, excuse my tears flowing down my cheeks
My beard has turned yellow from sadness and grief

5. My body is shattered from all the afflictions
My honor belongs to the eyes that drowned it in tears

6. Do not blame my eyelids if they shed blood
From the injustice of days that made us drink humiliation

7. From the injustice of days when oppression reigned
Upon us, and the cloud of worries enveloped its pillars

8. And rare is the true friend at times of adversity
When the nights of betrayal attacked us with their evils

9. And afflictions weighed heavily on the immigrants
With no relief for the people of trial, they hope for none

10. No relief is hoped for except from Allah’s mercy
They stood against us and our families, screaming

11. Standing against us fully armed and equipped
Scattering our children in the wilderness with no guardian

12. Wishing evil upon us without any mercy
We became a lesson for the fair maidens when they turned against us

13. We became a lesson while we are like the water of Zamzam
They betrayed us openly, nothing was hidden

14. How strange is the plight of the believer when he is oppressed
Without any past sin before it can be understood

15. While the people of evil and vileness are often
Forgiven, because the soul is used to their followers

16. They violated the covenant of Allah after agreeing to it
And ignored the view of the Chosen Prophet

17. Whoever trusts the treacherous will surely regret
And lose his sight from crying over their betrayal

18. And whoever believes the promises of betrayers quickly regrets
When he bites his palms from their violation

19. Even if they swore to God, the All-Powerful
They easily break their alliances and pacts

20. Nothing has changed, so beware of the blind
And listen to the words of people who have experienced them

21. Whoever deals with time becomes knowledgeable
And whoever experiences things learns their qualities

22. Take this sincere advice without any deceit
From those whose affairs have been tested through trials

23. Their conversations are filled with great wisdom
And their biting words are like refined gold

24. If you are a man, I advise you to be reasonable and understanding
Beware of those who roam from town to town

25. If they come to a land where injustice has spread
All the subjects suffer from its oppression

26. Like how fire burns the body and destroys it
Ask the subjects of the town they rule

27. They have built their councils on unjust rule
Without bribery, you won’t be allowed entry

28. If you were from the family of Fatima
Your petition will not be accepted without payment

29. They will not have mercy on a poor Muslim
Unless he pays a juicy bribe that they swallow

30. If I said I am Jesus, the martyred son of Mary
They would take the divine funds and distribute them

31. They are not ashamed of insulting speech
They only know wine that they keep drinking

32. Until the justice of the Lord strikes them from above and destroys them
As for integrity and manliness, they have abandoned it

33. Those who join them are surely unjust as well
Like a stubborn mule bred and raised to curse it

34. They have made the jobs available only to the immoral
And have made people of all faiths their servants

35. If one of them comes to people, he unjustly oppresses them
While claiming to be generous and hospitable

36. The whale of the sea and whoever competes with it feeds
Woe to those whose petition they tear up

37. They collect it like meat collected for cooking pots
May Allah isolate them and punish them after showing clemency

38. And have mercy on us without anything less than that
Revealing our happiness after it disappeared and became gloomy

39. By demolishing their strongholds in their own lands, my Master
And safely rescuing everyone, my Lord, and honoring us

40. And having mercy on the weak among them, as many as are confined
Afterwards, my longing soul consulted

41. And deliberated with the nights that blinded them
The days have betrayed us, shocking and unjust

42. As did the nights, and those we trusted in them
The days are fickle, doing justice at times and injustice at others

43. While the evils of the nights overwhelmed their pillars
O believer, do not think days will be safe

44. The days, those who betrayed them have blamed them
Look at the present world, if you have any understanding

45. And see the current nights and those that passed
Some things require you to be in control

46. While others are marked on their faces
Sometimes, life makes you drink bitterness and aloe

47. And other times, it offers you sweet springs
If you are arrogant, listen and learn

48. From the fate of past kings and their subjects
And the Messengers of God spread across the land and sky

49. Who saw things not as they appeared
Adam was tempted by Iblis at a time of blindness

50. And disobeyed God's command after eras
Noah proved strong with the scriptures and wisdom

51. As kinds of animals boarded his ship two by two
Abraham survived the fire that raged

52. And destroyed all the idols that existed
How strange that people still reject

53. The God who filled the earth and heavens
After him, Jesus the son of Mary was protected

54. During his time, goodness spread everywhere
And he built God's land with justice, just as

55. Miracles happened every hour that people saw
When the Messiah was born, people found comfort

56. As the wolf and lambs grazed together
And Muhammad, the Chosen One, with knowledge all around

57. Spread his religion by the sword firmly
The masses of prophets that cannot be counted

58. As long as creation is ruled without God
All creations hope for His mercy

59. O God, for the sake of the Chosen Prophet
The intercessor, relieve the remaining oppression

60. O Maker of the seven solid heavens
With pillars from no visible support below them

61. O Spreader of the earth upon the water when
The creations and angels submitted

62. And made it steady with lofty mountains
Above the ground, a thousand heights below

63. With its trees and palms submissive and smiling
Green with vegetation on all sides

64. Bearing sweet and delicious fruits
With flavors of fruits everywhere

65. And interspersed lights, condensed
In shapes beyond description and counting

66. Rain covers it every year without fail
Greening the widespread branches above

67. Relieve us, O Creator of all, inspire us
And return those who lost hope in hardships

68. And improve the condition of the sick and frail
And have mercy on the weak and exiled

69. You are Able, and we have no shelter
Except Your mercy that the people of trial hope for

70. I conclude my words with the Glorious Prophet
Woe to the people who opposed his way

71. May the Chosen One seal for us with goodness the Day of Regret
