1. I reached the beautiful creek, urged
To it by a love in my heart that's newly hosted

2. I reached it, and the gazelle, her soul
Yearning for the sea, leaning towards its waves

3. Her braids before sunset are rays
With magic dreams that wildly race

4. I stood watching her, and to the waves the sea
Roared on the shorelines with cries that race

5. Does God create in everything temptation?
I say to her what I desire and she says

6. If the believer’s faith in his Lord is true
Then all that’s ugly in existence is beautiful
