1. Between you and I, there are hours
If they increase, they will not add distance from the morning of Sunday

2. I spent two days in distress and fever
I say I am the king of poetry after tomorrow

3. If I look at you longing and thirsty
To my nectar I see the king obedient to my hand

4. Your sorrows in me do not cease their origins
Try to save yourself, oh gazelle, from the lion

5. For you are the melodies from my poetry and its intoxication
For you are the cups from my soul and from my body

6. If I hold you while the universe thunders all around
The winds roar in the heart of the singing nightingale

7. I fear a burning ember on the cheek that seduces me
I take refuge in this One, Eternal God
