For mouths long for people of beauty

7. She left Alexandria for another house
In Ain Shams she resides but denies

8. Tomorrow I travel though my heart grieves
For what may happen when close terrifies me

9. Nearness is like distance in its dangers
And fire burns stronger when brought near

10. You distance me from myself so I resist
And distance can restrain and deter at times

11. My heart believes you are close to me
And we are united

12. I visit you in my imagination every moment
And listen to the songs of my lute
