1. The dawn of victory shone from Victory Mount
So I congratulated it on tidings that illuminate elucidation

2. It is the making of God, may its horizon live long
With abundant rain after long thirst

3. As the light of the full moon shone after its concealment
And the ornamented order returned scattered and adorned

4. Nor did a Yusuf-like call restore it
But it is a soul returned to a body

5. The beloved of beauty hastened to meet it
So that the benefit of refusal may magnify the favor of union

6. Good tidings of this feat, O king of guidance
And congratulations on this victory, O Victory Mount

7. Else the enemies would have had power over you
Going to harshness and returning to celebration

8. The supporter of the state, the noble, the content
Appeared in your famous observation point on the mountainside

9. For you is the supreme state, O its supporter
With the calm that raised the hand of tyranny from the palace

10. So receive victory, as your resolve welcomes it
And dawn only points to the morning

11. A soul strived sincerely to please you
Struggling with those who deviated from the ways of good advice

12. With every brave warrior when called to turmoil
Not lacking courage in wars or declining fighting

13. And you followed it with the finest regiments
So what descents the slopes shook from their summits

14. The steeds did not fail in courage
Nor did the lions of men refrain from clawing

15. Clouds of arrows rose against them
And rained only arrows to pierce

16. When battle made the wings thirsty, you let them drink their fill
They ask and are saturated, they cry out and are vivified

17. And you sent your ships above the sea
With which the movements of conquest are built upon victory

18. Gliders that sing when they swoop down on the enemy
With wings of mighty victory instead of swimming

19. As if the gazelles of the desert went astray and fell
Into the valleys between Al-Ayk, Ban and Talh

20. Coated from the staining tar with a color
As the monks' turning in the creation of erasure

21. And the birds of Yemen chant in them, though they have become
Songs against the enemy, startling with wit

22. Their gathering scatters the assembly of the transgressors
One to a crack and another to a split

23. When their steeds race to the lead
Their nimble ones do not falter at the curb

24. And in the Gulf's assembly some were obstinate
And the fire of tyranny kindled with inflammation

25. So many aggressors and truce-keepers among them
In whose hearts ignorance clouds that do not clear

26. Tomorrow wandering blindly in the darkness of loss
Neither their night clears nor their day breaks

27. The turns of fate made him drink her wine till he emptied the cup
Oh cup that emptied of its bouquet by drinking

28. Resolute souls aimed at the spear of misguidance
Their aims became a path to success

29. Though they struggled to protect the favor of a benefactor
Oh ruin of endeavor and humiliation of toil

30. An inciter from Satan circulated among the people
For what was firmly tied and what was wounded

31. What pacts were undone and harm was hastened
What unity was shattered and what rest was disrupted

32. Then you unleashed in them your soldiers like stars
Shining while the night of panic lowered its wing

33. For what help was extended and protection strengthened
What security prevailed, guidance appeared

34. What triumph prevailed, and success was attained
With every brave piercing arrow

35. When the war uncovered its leg and recoiled
As Bilqis exposed her ankle from the palace

36. Having laid down her burden after determination
That bent their resolute souls, bloodily wounded

37. By God, when they repented and reconciled
A pardon that bent away from them by the custom of pardoning

38. Neither spear nor sword were sanctioned
Neither plotting nor erasing adopted

39. The deeds of a master who graciously and mercifully granted
What the stubborn had never found ease in granting

40. He gave them success after long waiting
A cup for the thirsty from a rain withholding its drink

41. A hand that checks the aggressors and an obtainer
Who gives the archers abundant pouring rain

42. His palm fluctuates between sword and captivity
However you wish to prevent or wish to give

43. A generosity like your rain-laden clouds
And guidance like your rising dawn

44. Its rising depicts for us the image of daybreak
And its determination recites its surah of victory

45. O meteors of guidance, gleam in its horizon
O clouds of favor from his palm, rain

46. And so many strenuously striving souls
Whose trade with God thrives with profit

47. Its lofty determination sees it assailing
Like stars appearing to the darkness in the wing

48. And its swords, when war intensifies
Reflect lightning in the glance

49. No lightning but what the scabbard reveals of its blade
No star but what climbs the bearer of the lance

50. Swooping down on the enemy where its flock
Are pastures that ignite the wounds of its intensity

51. My Prince, take them as a garden for joy
Adorned with lamps, aromatic with scent

52. Showing you from excellent composition necklaces
Of pearls, adorning with necklaces and victory

53. Though I fell short in describing you
Who are the endless sea, inexhaustible by praise

54. For God has praised you, so what can a servant
Match in eulogizing you with praise?
