2. And your composition I did not do justice
Except my soul facing its reward

3. There came Aqila of beautiful perfection
So my heart became enamored with her charm

4. I was commissioned with her so the intensity of passion
When it saw my commission, it mounted its steed

5. So this is my love and that is my overflowing ardor
And no ardor exceeds that of one to his beloved

6. So by God what a daughter of reflection is she
Conveying to each hopeful his pursuit

7. And by God who manifested her beauty
Hinting to my bliss in writing
