1. I have attained every fine and pleasant description,
The like of which was never attained in bygone times,

2. If the horizons of my existence are graced by my Master,
Where then is Sana’a or the sword of Dhi Yazan?

3. This is the supreme achievement, so be content with it,
By the grace of the Sauds, and sheathe the blades of Yemen,

4. Or if He appears in my being at eventide,
The sun has no right but to set according to its laws,

5. And if you speak of a virtue with which I am graced,
You will find it to be related from the Goodly Example,

6. I have come to embody flowers and blossoms,
As His palm has come to embody generosity and favour,

7. He is the Imam whose benevolence is everlasting,
And whose beauty sets an exemplary path to follow,

8. For had it not been for him the stars of guidance would not have shone,
And had it not been for him the paths of light would not have been clear,

9. If the illuminator of his rising place had existed before,
No illuminator would have been attributed to Yemen,

10. This is the champion, the intrepid Master, so leave
Talk of trustee, faithful, and trustworthy,

11. His triumph remains sought from his lofty horizons,
Conveying the awaited tidings in the homeland,
