1. Your morning glow guides, radiant and hopeful,
Your palm makes the clouds rain their bounty bashfully

2. Putting to shame the passing clouds and exposing them.
When a cloud moves or a banner sways,

3. You are the dew and the forbearance, the best and the weightiest.
If rain pours or dawn peeks,

4. Your decree is the highest, or your gifts the most generous.
The creation whose meadow of virtues

5. Is not weeds, nor is the pasture of hopes cleaned up.
Your heights in the battle swoop as if they are

6. Stars in the darkness of conflict, winged.
Their brilliance at the battleground are stars

7. In a turbulent night, proclaiming you at dawn.
When the stirred darkness clears up you’d think them

8. Flowers blooming in the green thickets.
The winds of victory blow and war kindles,

9. This one flares up when that one sparks.
They sweep over the land of polytheism, impregnable,

10. Watering its expanse while schemes pour.
I imagine its singer and every monotheist

11. Glorifying in its regions and chanting praises.
While the enemies rise above the resting place as if they are

12. Foam on the surface of a tumultuous sea, overflowing.
About the victorious caliph Yusuf

13. Noble accounts are narrated and authenticated.
His qualities are like a garden whose north wind

14. Blows so its flowers bloom in the absence of clouds.
If the horizon clears he is the most gentle of temper,

15. and if dawn breaks he is the brightest and most lucid.
His palm combines the sword and outreach,

16. It prevents the furthest regions and bestows.
When preventing with bestowal, his generosity engages him

17. So the Most High's accounts are heard and pardoned.
You see the line and lineage willingly obeying his right hand

18. Like flexible branches of sandalwood trees swaying.
Indeed he is the caliph Yusuf, the imam of guidance,

19. The excellent, virtuous, and celebrated one.
An imam surpassing the times in warding off enemies

20. And in forgiving major sins and pardoning.
Every defiant one acknowledged his superiority

21. So the eyes of the faithful shone and they succeeded.
You regarded the kingdom of the West, O king of guidance,

22. With the most prudent opinion and proper aim.
And you harbored, willfully, a latent determination

23. Until its radiant dawn emerged illuminated.
So a wretched one despaired, you pulled his reins

24. When he slanted in his misguidance and insisted.
You cast the light of guidance on the night of his misguidance

25. So after it his dawn cannot become illuminated.
You defended the religion of God while it was on the verge

26. Of being ruined, then you declared explicitly.
The cities became expectant that the sparks of fear in them

27. Would be struck and ignited.
Can someone made great with a kingdom aspire to it

28. Or yearn for its heights?
Does he seek a way to salvation while forbidden?

29. Can the improper aim that does not succeed save him?
Alas! In his hands is the sharp slicing sword and he recoiled

30. From the improper aim, while the fading one sways.
And whoever willingly submitted faith to polytheism,

31. Can he escape the shackles of humiliation and succeed?
The bonds of Islam became undone in the treaty of his peace

32. When he willfully bent to it and inclined.
Glorious are the feats that no eloquent one can encompass describing,

33. Nor does the mind range freely in its meadow.
In them, wisdom was misplaced for a while,

34. And the insincere advisor was believed.
You then supported one whom you granted victory,

35. With determination surpassing firm mountains and outweighing.
And men of your soldiers, whenever

36. They were removed from the battle they did not waver.
Battalions sending you letters

37. Of continuous victory and support, beyond description.
It's as if their staffs at war

38. Charge like gazelles over sand dunes.
They take the enemy by surprise while standing firm

39. And they strut proudly in their posts and frolic.
When looking down they are gazelles, and if

40. Deceptions appear, they are the visible stars.
Moreover, these when preceding the enemy

41. And emerging in the darkness of conflict, are more compassionate.
Your eminent presence, your mighty threshold,

42. Its lofty accounts are verified and authenticated.
It established an era where no

43. Radiant morning glow emerged from its brilliance illuminated,
Until you arrived now, the halo of its horizon,

44. As the radiance of the morning sun emerged.
The keen sighted saw your mirror then,

45. So sights and hopes have a goal and destination.
Good tidings to them for seeing your omen

46. Which conveys the fulfillment of wishes and explains.
And good tidings of a feast day returning

47. With all that hopes can aspire and reach.
It came to you while ardor waned its crescent

48. And passionate yearning dissolved and rejoiced.
The month of fasting bid farewell to the most generous

49. Declining, narrating lofty accounts and validating.
It passed while praising you for what you deserve,

50. Spending mornings and evenings in your good mention.
It implores you for protection of the religion and life,

51. At whose judgment decisive authority lies ahead.
And whoever befriends faith, knowledge and piety,

52. And seeking sublime objectives and brilliance, how can he vanish?
You were congratulated one day, most virtuous, in a season

53. Where the gates of acceptance have opened.
I composed it from the sea of my thoughts into pearls

54. Adorning excellent sublime verses.
Abstinence is adorned with descriptions as if it were a garden

55. For youth a meadow, and for the eyes a range.
When God praised you in His Book,

56. What more can the eloquent elaborate and praise?
So what expression about your sublime qualities can inform?

57. And what tongue about your traits can articulate?
Among your blessings is the dawn of guidance

58. Clarifying the straight path for me and elucidating.
It adorns me with the turtle dove's collar, bestowing favor,

59. So I become generous in the meadow of eulogies.
In prose it has for the meanings eulogies,

60. And in verse for melodies it adorns.
Every monotheist supplicated for your support,

61. Thus the gates of heaven opened.
And pilgrims supplicate for you wherever

62. They stand and settle, and touch and settle upon.
So you are immortalized wherever the pilgrims went to Mina

63. And wherever they pronounced the mention and praised.
