1. He shows you the ornaments that have shone
Like the radiance of a cheerful face

2. And he who is guided by its brilliance thinks
They are resolves that attack and retreat

3. And if you exhaust the Romans they will submit
As the obstinate submitted after coercion

4. He who procrastinates will be content with the rule of the sword
And the miser will be generous with ample wealth

5. That is easy with the will of the Omnipotent
Who attains the desired goal and facilitates

6. As for us, by Allah Almighty, our intention
Is to exile in supporting the right guidance and give respite

7. With hearts that know no rest or peace
Can the wind rest when stirred?

8. I am Al-Yusufi, the successful one of righteous aims
Whenever a lofty aim for kings is remembered

9. I am Al-Yusufi the victorious, whose title
Destroys the offspring of enemies and facilitates

10. The King of Rome openly declares his peace
And the proof of my purpose is evident to him

11. Do I aspire to aught but wars?
Do I aspire to aught but jihad?

12. My position is not one that is pleased
With slackening of conquests
