1. I am known for my love of beauty,
In it shines the supported, victorious one.

2. He is a full moon among beauties coming from me,
And in war he is a well-equipped lion.

3. His excellence has decreed that my description
Falls short of encompassing his perfections.

4. My sides and the pearls of my praise in them
Are either gazelles adorned and reserved,

5. Or stars whose radiance pales in my presence,
While the beauty of adornment focuses upon them.
