In which the learned worshipper found rest.

2. Lament and say: Alas for the time that was
Evil for us, O lonely one with no successor.

3. You spent your life in chastity and received
From your Lord manifold reward, O Joseph.

4. And you left, O Zakar, a righteous memory
That is praised and lauded among people and described.

5. For you is felicity, for you have attained the goal
Where you heard your Lord's call shouting to you.

6. For you a Garden spread wide, so enter
My Paradise of Glory, O you who practiced self-restraint.
