1. She rose to me with a kiss embracing me
Her scent permeating my bones as though musk filled her mouth

2. Let me sacrifice myself for you, no one is aware of us
My soul for your soul, curing an illness that afflicts her

3. Thus we spent the night sleepless on our beds
From intense passion drawing me near and I drawing her near

4. Until the first light appeared I said to her
Parting draws nigh, grief almost bursting her apart

5. Then she left and no one was aware of us
