1. Oh messenger of The Merciful, tell Him for me
That I have abandoned the month of fasting
١. أَلا مَن مُبلِغُ الرَحمَن عَنّي
بِأَنّي تارِكٌ شَهرَ الصِيامِ
2. Say to God my drink prevents me
And say to God my food prevents me
٢. فَقُل لِلَّهِ يَمنَعُني شَرابي
وَقُل لِلَّهِ يَمنَعُني طَعامي
