١. أُمَّ سَلّامَ لَو لَقيتِ مِنَ الوَج
دِ عَشيرَ الَّذي لَقيتُ بَراكِ
2. Then reward their cordial love with cordial love,
A long-standing love that hardships could not diminish.
٢. فَأَثيبي بِالوُدِّ صَبّاً عَميداً
مُستَهاماً لَم يَشجُهُ ما شَجاكِ
3. You ransom a slave with all that is good;
From evil, it is you who ransom him.
٣. أَنتِ تَفدينَ عَبدَ مِن كُلِّ خَيرٍ
وَمِنَ السوءِ هِيَ تَكونُ فِداكِ
