1. Glorify God at every dawn in the east
His sun has risen and each crescent moon

2. We have the world of mystery and eloquence
Nothing our Lord said was misguided

3. To Him belong the birds that chirp and nest
In the nooks of the secure mountains

4. To Him belong the beasts you see in the wilderness
In rocky plains and in the shade of sands

5. To Him the Jews devoted their Judaism
And every faith when adversities were mentioned

6. To Him belong the Christians' sun and they stood
Every feast for their Lord and celebration

7. To Him belongs the monk you see
Confined in misery though he was opulent

8. O sons of wombs sever them not
And connect them, short from long

9. And fear God regarding the rights of orphans
Lest the unlawful be made lawful

10. And know that the orphan has a guardian
Guided without asking

11. Then do not consume the orphan’s money
The orphan’s money, a guardian watches over

12. O sons of frontiers violate them not
Violating frontiers shows lack of reason

13. O sons of days trust them not
And beware the cunning of nights and the bitterness of days

14. Know that their bitterness is never ending
It created what was anew and fraught

15. Unite your affairs in righteousness and piety
And leaving sin and taking the lawful
