1. People have afflicted me with many woes
The most difficult of them bow me with humility

2. People, when we went astray
Make our road easy towards good deeds

3. Without our Lord we would be Jews
And the Jewish faith has no splendor

4. Without our Lord we would be Christians
With the monks on Mount Al-Jaleel

5. But when we were created
Our religion was Hanifah from every ignorance

6. Veils of true guidance, adorned with submission
Baring shoulders dancing ecstatically
