Bringing news of the people of Najd

As they recall Najd and pine

7. How can I not love a land whose people
Have spread kindness across all lands?

8. Say what you will of them, speak of their nobility
For the best game is found deep in the wilderness

9. Noble was their origin, and pure their roots
Lofty their worth and generous their nature

10. If you see among them a gallant knight
You'd think all perfection in him resides

11. I swear by the flowers of their ancestors
Who gave meaning to the holy lands

12. My praise of them is my treasure, my love of them my faith
I wonder, will they accept me, I wonder?

13. God bears witness that I am their servant
To buy and sell if they so desire

14. And when their stories flow
Ask not what stirs in my heart

15. They have granted my teary eyes as gifts
And escorts bereft of tears

16. So you see me, when they depart
Accustomed to vigils and crying

17. They have brought renown to these lands, thus we see
Traces of them in every quarter

18. The likes of Abu Al Qadar, pillar of guidance
And brilliance, his knowledge carried high

19. The best of nobles, crown of commanders
Heir of spiritual pole, exalted RAFAA`I

20. Flag of shaykhs, sultan of zeal
Succor of east, shaykh of the poor

21. What a wondrous chain it is, which
The louder its call, the lower it hangs

22. A bond of the house of the best of prophets
Honoring those who take pride in them

23. My master, O father of guidance, O son of one
Before whom even lions bowed

24. O kind hearted, treasure of piety
O noble soul, how can I reach you?

25. You have a face whose light shines from the face
Of the sun of righteousness none denies

26. A manifestation supported by God, and how much
Do I expect from you even more manifest

27. You have from the glory of RAFAA`I an exaltation
That returns the gaze humbled, anguished

28. And a soul I sacrifice to the hand that would
Humble rain, if rain should flow

29. And a tongue that quenched his heart
From the springs of conquest overflowed

30. You have the gaze of AHMED that when
It unleashes its will, can split solid stone

31. You have a heart made pure, safe from the grime
Of waters of malice, opened clear

32. By your father son of RAFAA`I and the
Blessed advisors, great elders

33. None can deny his glory is deserved
When this is spoken of your father

34. And may time render you noble master,
A guide untouched by distress

35. And may the worshipper come in utter
Sincerity of heart, proud through you

36. For he is mute save praising you
And most eloquent among poets through you
