After times estranged me with separation and avoidance

27. But fate is against me, yet an ally

30. The light of Muhammad's family appears in him
As shone the Indian sword from its sheathe

31. The light of his forehead almost reveals
His noble lineage and guiding nobility

32. Born of honourable Imam fathers
Rightly guiding by God's command to righteousness

33. They were raised in the burrows of glory until they grew
Above the steeds and the plumed horses

34. So I have with them the bond of allegianceโ€”why not?
They were not created but as deserving ties and pacts

40. He has the lightning of pouring rain yet no

41. You are not like gushing springs in their commotion
With your generosity and provision

42. I angered rivals till you found me
Filling the ageโ€™s breasts with hatred

43. You gave Abu Salman to all the people
The desert was not frightened when you were absent

44. The hopeful were not deprived of your virtues
Whose taste at my hands is made lawful

47. You were kind, then you changed
Benefiting at times, failing at others

48. You are like a sun in the sky
But the radiance of the sun is veiled by cataracts
