While your victorious side protects?

55. While other great ones, if called, are deaf
To goodly deeds, if they are asked

56. By God, you are peerless among your people
And you, none but you we seek and call

57. No needy man has failed to gain plenty
And to your bounty the straightest road leads

58. We hope for your help and dread your vengeance
For mighty is your power and greater your grace

59. You give and you withhold, disappointing
None but you can give and disappoint both

60. God knows and all the world bears witness
I hope for none but you and none expect

61. From the sea of your kindness a sweet
And freshwater spring flows, constant, never failing
