30. When I placed poetry among its people
Then for me is the glory of excellence

31. I see the fair one among his people
Praising Abdullah however much praise

32. Affection proved in my heart for him
A love no deletion could erase

33. May God protect him, that glorious one
Who scented mornings and evenings with joy

34. He restricted me to righteousness by his merit
I have no escape from his door

35. I rejoice when I see him rejoicing
And no blame is on the joyous one

36. I never ceased being close to his love
Knocking on the door of success with joys

37. By God, I sensed no lightning from him
Except the generosity flashed where it flashed

38. The glad tidings of dew and leniency
Appear to me in his face

39. He does on days of generosity
What warriors do on days of struggle

40. Delighting my pure heart, optimistic
For intimacy, alarmed by deer and quails

41. God singled him out and adorned him
With the loftiness of worth and humility

42. He knows no anxiety as a companion
Nor meets it but with serenity

43. He left me no desire in any need
Nor any hopes of wishes to propose

44. Of those I pride myself on
White deer of India and brown spears

45. They are protected when they seek refuge
And nothing of their generosity is violated

46. For them is the most high portion
Of fate's arrows and time's calamities

47. They show good deeds
And faces of days are ugly and shameful

48. As rain pouring down
Watered the hills and lowlands

49. Their oaths rend on the fearful day
The hearts of enemies with the chests of weapons

50. Whoever they inspire with ambition
Aspiring for all goals and wishes

51. No determination bent in their dwellings
Nor hardened in encountering them

52. The family of Zuhair, the bright stars
In the sky of the highest spheres and leniency

53. If they imprison me then by their favor
Or release me then gentle is the release

54. The qualities of their praise do not cease
Cloaking my limbs in fine garb
