1. Religion is now victorious with support
Praise be to Allah in the days of Mahmud

2. When the refined ones of Allah were set free like white antelopes
So he strengthened religion in it, what a strengthening

3. And took possession of the kingdom by an opinion he makes firm
With a sharp sword and endless grace

4. He blocked the mountain passes and paved the way
So the kingdom is between paving and blocking

5. The days of his shining rule you’d reckon
An epoch over the cheeks of time

6. Time fears his resolute past
And the sea seeks from him the field of generosity

7. Its glories have narrated about Saad, and not swerved
With justice then from the judgment of Ibn Masud
