And determination judges while swords bear witness

3. The day Thuwaini passed away into the earth
The day which to the wilderness was as celebration

5. Say to one who blamed the Imam with his poetry
You have missed what was sought and intended

6. And you were surely blind to guidance with one who has
A gaze piercing the essence of all matters

7. The noble master lofty in station
And his station is the one praised and lauded

8. How can you belittle with foolishness a master
Whose right is veneration and extolment

9. The envy of haters for what he has of well-being
While the One God is pleased, the One worshipped

10. Whoever blamed Salim regarding his father, blame him
Folly! By my life, he has no increase

11. He did not disobey his father nor was truthful he who
Attributed disobedience to him, and it is denial

12. Thuwaini met his fate on his deathbed
And his promised day came upon him

13. This is the decree of Allah, exalted is His majesty
No father remains, nor newborn

16. When his determination awoke from heedlessness
In which the minds of the ignorant slumber

17. And an affair disturbed him and his concerns
That would be detrimental to Oman and recur

18. He took charge of affairs with his own self so those
Calamities and tribulations were deterred

19. And he settled those realms after they
Nearly collapsed with their people and swayed

20. He protected them with swords and spears
So Oman became strong and the men mighty lions

21. No good is in a kingdom if not protected
By valor making iron melt, severe

22. The tyrants meet their doom from his swordโ€™s edge
This, while his spring of generosity flows

ู‡ุฐุง ูˆู…ู†ู‡ู„ ุฌูˆุฏู‡ ู…ูˆุฑูˆุฏ

23. What benefit is foolish censure and refutation?
Refuting ignorance is futile

24. His father met his fate and passed away
No mortal in existence has permanence

25. Better than the one lost at his passing
Is this Imam, Salim, who still exists

26. Leaving for him praiseworthy memory, his reputation
Can revive eras, while it is ever new

27. Foolish is the Indian who wished with his advice
Deceit, while all his words are refuted

ุบูุดู‘ู‹ุง ูˆูƒู„ู‘ ู…ู‚ุงู„ู‡ ู…ุฑุฏูˆุฏ

28. Composing poetry to win our hearts
From him, though that is far from the intent

ูขูจ. ู†ุธู… ุงู„ู‚ุฑูŠุถ ู„ูŠุณุชู…ูŠู„ ู‚ู„ูˆุจู†ุง
ุนู†ู‡ ูˆุฐุงูƒ ู…ู† ุงู„ู…ุฑูŠุฏ ุจุนูŠุฏ

29. Hidden from the understanding of the rebel were the goals
In them, and the slow-witted knew not the purpose

What he guaranteed in rebuke and intimidation

31. In order to deceive the Muslims with a trick
The devil knows not how he shall scheme

32. Oman, Sahar and Muscat are neither India
Nor are the noble Arabs Hindus

34. The Imam of Muscat, his side is not cowed
By parchments and promises when meeting

ุนู†ุฏ ุงู„ู„ู‘ู‚ุงุก ุจูˆุงุฑู‚ ูˆูˆุนูˆุฏ

35. The men of Oman pledged allegiance to him
Honor them, for they are the gallant lions

ุฃูƒู’ุฑูู…ู’ ุจู‡ู… ูู‡ู…ู ุงู„ุฑุฌุงู„ ุงู„ุตูŠุฏ

36. And behind him is the King of all Kings
Abdulaziz, extended is his shade

37. A king who gives victory, so supplies him
Wherever he wishes, with troops and soldiers

ุฃู†ู‘ูŽู‰ ูŠุดุงุก ุนุณุงูƒุฑ ูˆุฌู†ูˆุฏ

38. And behind that an Arab nation
In whom is religion, piety and generosity

ูฃูจ. ูˆูˆุฑุงุก ุฐู„ูƒ ุฃูู…ู‘ูŽุฉ ุนุฑุจูŠู‘ูŽุฉ
ุงู„ุฏู‘ููŠู† ููŠู‡ุง ูˆุงู„ุชู‚ู‰ ูˆุงู„ุฌูˆุฏ

39. Whoever is slave to God among his supporters
The Sauds, he is indeed fortunate

40. And Allah is best of those who bring victory and has not
Been except with Him victory and affirmation
