1. This is a mosque whose lords of prostration were secretly pleased with it,
A mosque, a gatherer for the prostrating worshipper and the bowing one.

2. God built it, made it and established it,
And raised its pillars and corners.

3. He hopes for its reward in the Hereafter from God,
So what a reward from God he longs for!

4. He called then to righteous deeds,
Whoever to God in it was submitting and humble.

5. So may God reward him for what he had built,
With goodness and honor him from His abundant grace.

6. Indeed, its construction had adorned its building,
Date the restoration of Abd al-Qadir al-Jami.
