1. My standing in this dormant abode
Is like a lover yearning for his beloved

2. My ears meet their words
But they lead to no gain

3. Roaming the lands is too narrow

I saw none more lost than the wise

To be tempted by the unoccupied

10. True honor belongs to one whom
Your eyes do not see begging

11. When he sees fertility with the vile
He remains in the barren land

12. While worries and troubles
Busy the glorious in constant occupation

13. The narrow-minded reproach me
Wealth does not remain with the attainer

14. How can I be content with a grateful one
When the shade that shelters me is fleeting

15. If it does not part from you in a year
You are the one parting from the reuniter
