1. She sends her grazing Ala', perfect
Among the mountains like a mountain.

2. The blossoms of Khuzama bowed to her
And the rain of Umaym grew full and matured.

3. With virtues not motivated by passion,
Nor did any defect in her ever appear.

4. Virtues they offer to the guest generously,
While they bleed the white camels and sheep.

5. They make us comfortable if we stay
And if we leave they make the breeze and sands comfortable.

6. They reached perfection, so they cannot be reproached
If seriousness nears death's appointment.

7. I said to the travelers seeking glory
While many travelers' paths were blinded.

8. In confusing vast lands
Even a wolf would get lost wandering them at dawn.

9. Eyes glance around when the beloved is hidden
The bird's nest is demolished by the breeze.

10. They protected the owner of earthly kingdoms
The pillar of this religion, the sultan of states.

11. Where pride bows down before him
And his land is populated from all directions.

12. Endowments of bliss, wealth of bounty
Debased in his yards and made common.

13. The source of his generosity, its lights
Rain every morning and night.

14. Firm in resolve when others are frivolous
Wise in opinion when opinions fail.

15. With an idea that illuminates every darkness
As if it were an igniting ember.

16. You remained in the sea of war among men
Who only stab with thin, fine spears.

17. Gathering all those scattered in remembrance
Whether that gathering disperses or meets.

18. As if leaning over a watchtower
Staining it with blood if compact and tearing it down if ruined.

19. Until you protected the state’s flank when
It was endangered by setback after setback.

20. If not for your treatment of its afflictions
With blows and stabs, it would not have thrived.

21. How many stubborn problems you have mounted.
Feeds them careful steps when haste stumbles.

22. And an ambitious one without rightful claim to glory
You pushed him away from climbing, so he slipped.

23. And one rushing to passion, leaning
Away from propriety, you returned him from his leaning.

24. Which young man did you guide
Before he knocked on the doors of glory and entered?

25. And which threadbare soul did generosity perfume
That was never asked for kindness yet gave?

26. And which walker in the slips of vileness
Crossed over and had no fear of stumbling?

27. And what heavy load did you bear
Between the mighty and strong, yet you carried it?

28. Among a people created only for them,
The elite of the kingdom and crowns of the state.

29. Born only with the crises of kingdoms
In their hands, from knots and solutions.

30. Wearing the garments of the kingdom, their bodies
Shed of garments.

31. What you used to send me came to me
Sometimes from burning passions, sometimes in near lodging.

32. Words and deeds made me reach glory
And water can sometimes reach foam in rising high.

33. You favored me over all people and whoever
You favored over all people, you favored.

34. And you told me what you adorned me with in life
And how I complained, seeking respite in my dismissal.

35. How many blessings you have with me that elated wishes
And did not quench the thirst of aspiring souls!

36. I boast of them while I see many a walker on earth
In the like of them did not boast.

37. O you who possess me, a fleet
That exhausted the first camels in the Syrian lands.

38. How much I held back of what I pulled
Whoever stretched out their arms for it did not reach!

39. You awakened me to poetry after blindness
Led my passionate astray and turned away.

40. And he said of your glory, if you are true
You tied yourself from composing poetry, so untie!

41. So take it as you deemed its rhyme
As if nothing else was ever said.

42. I purified it when I wanted to take it
To your glory from a beloved and amorous one.

43. As if it glistened and was cast with it
The love of hearts of bliss and affection.

44. God did not allow us other than you
Nor did your glory recede or move away.

45. The house of a kingdom which you remain in
Was always filled with delegations and roams.

46. The clouds poured abundantly upon you
And you obtained them in waves after waves.
