1. If you fear a matter, then make
Turning to a Lord who protects you from dangers, your countermeasure

2. And do not fear a matter in which you have consigned
Its ends to God and its courses

3. And do not rouse a subjugated people
If they sit aside, they offer excuses

4. And be accepting of what Allah alone decrees
Even if wishes do not agree with it, grateful

5. And do not boast except with the garment of chastity
If one day you were pride in virtue

6. And I guarantee salvation from harm
For whoever did not extend his hand, except to God as helper
