1. This happiness has risen on one foot
And settled for it in the abode of generosity

2. So if you want goodness for me in this life, my God
Then grant me control over time and nations

3. For if time swerved from goodness
And swerved from the most honorable traits

4. I would contend with time over them all who seek
And drive time away from them, all that lacks
