1. You have done well, Othman, as you have attained righteousness
And the praised course in deed and purpose

2. And knowledge and education and righteousness and guidance
And the agreeable approach of the One, the Unique

3. The path of the Messenger of God, pure and immaculate
Hanifiyyah that guides to the Garden of Eternity

4. And he said, enjoining us concerning you
And the Sunnah of whoever comes after me of the caliphs

5. So adhere to it vigorously, then whoever
Comes with other than it, meet that with rejection

6. For the worst of matters in existence are their innovations
And the best of matters is the religion of the Guide, the Rightly-Guided

7. Why should we abandon the Sunnah of Ahmad
And strive towards eternal evil deliberately?

8. And the Sunnah of Taha has been clearly explained
Reviving thereby the religious sciences without any rejection

9. Is there then a worker or seeker desiring guidance
With truthfulness, sincerity, patience and effort

10. Differing from all people in everything they have come with
Innovated, not based on truth and righteousness?

11. Oh woe is me! If only I had some role models
In our master the Guide and his companions of glory

12. I would succeed through our guide and have no further aim
And my heart would be reformed and my purpose attained

13. Through it the breezes of God come with pleasure
And unattainable knowledge comes

14. And we ask our Master, hoping for repentance
Through which we may attain the utmost happiness

15. And that He may forgive us, our parents, our family
And dear ones and those of affection

16. And have mercy on us and all Muslims
And protect us from the evil of the hostile and hateful

17. And if He takes our souls in the religion of Ahmad
And resurrects us under His banner, that of praise

18. Upon him be the prayers and peace of God
As numerous as drops of water, lightning and thunder

19. Along with his family and companions, those loyal to them
And the pardon of my God for what I have hidden and disclosed
