1. Whoever wants great sorrow for them
Let him become a sultan to people or minister

2. Or wants much harm and great adversity
And distress, sin, and abundant guilt

3. And afflictions, poverty, and wretched state
And pain right away and on the last day

4. He is in the honorable month, oh advisor
The blamers and arrogant gathered in it

5. And planting, all of it great and small
All evil, volatile evil

6. It has no good wick or lamp
It has no helper against the totality of evil

7. Miserable is its beginning and oh miserable is the outcome
So beware of them, for I am a warner for you

8. And an advisor and guide and warner
Do not accompany them for they are miserable comrades

9. Or sit with them, you will become one of them
They opposed the law of the guiding prophet

10. And God's book and the enlightening truth
Then blessings upon he whose heart is enlightened

11. Tranquil among people, does not know the contemptible
Remembers God with his words and conscience

12. He has no concerns except God the Great
And worship of his Lord, the Unique, the Expert

13. His news is given to many people
All of it is benefit, his sitting and walking

14. He advises the ignorant and has mercy on the wretch
He condemns wrong and is a helper of the truth

15. His harm is safeguarded from fear of the Powerful
Lord, reward me as I take refuge in You

16. From all evil, oh Best of Protectors
You are my assistant and oh Best of Helpers

17. And have mercy on the destitute and small child
Turn to us and suffice us from Hellfire

18. And prayers of God, the Lord of Great Virtue
Cover the Chosen One, the Guiding Prophet
