1. Praise be to Allah, my hopes for kindness are kind
And I have great hopes for Allah's abundant, long favor

2. And why not when He is the Generous Guarantor
The Benefactor, Favored, Giver of bounties, O Most Generous

3. Glory be to my Lord, exalted above any equal or peer
Sufficient for me is to Him, for I do not want any substitute for my Lord

4. How generous you are, goodness pours down in floods
From Him all kindness, minute and great

5. Blessed is Allah, no one can count His praise, it is said
O Lord, Your pardon on the lowly, humiliated slave

6. For I hope for nothing but the gracious, faithful pardon
As for my salvation through my deeds, it is impossible

7. I ask Allah's forgiveness for my terrible, burdensome sin
And I hope for Allah's mercy on the long Day

8. Then blessings upon Ahmed, Bakr and the noble one
And the family, companions and many peace
