1. O light, you have illuminated
And gladdened the heart

2. With joy and relief
Always obey Allah

3. And pray the obligatory prayers completely
And leave all distractions

4. From all high and low
From all that angers Allah

5. And leave rhetoric for it is all evils
And cause for regrets, except for remembering Allah

6. And do not look at people
For being with people is loss

7. And remember the state of the worms
And when we return to Allah

8. And hold fast to eternal remembrance
Without limit or end

9. It will benefit you when you are shrouded
And nothing remains except Allah

10. Your family and wealth will go
And above you the clay they will pour

11. And all your wealth they will take
So seek your salvation from Allah

12. With asceticism in this lowly life
And every admirable trait

13. With sincerity and truthful intention
In every admirable trait

14. And stick to worship and leave all habits
And refuse pillows when Allah descends

15. Rise, seek what you want
Of your worldly and religious affairs

16. He will grant you in the moment and instant
If sincere and Allah willing

17. We ask Allah to have mercy
And take away the worry and sorrow

18. And forgive our many sins
O Forgiver of sins, O Allah

19. O Allah with sincere repentance
From every ugly trait

20. And cause of disgrace
On the day we are resurrected to Allah

21. O Allah with a good ending
When death descends

22. We descend to the Abode of Peace
Gardens in which is Allah's pleasure

23. And our families and loved ones
And people of kindness in religion

24. Without limit or specification
Bounty and favour from Allah

25. Then blessings upon Ahmed
Taha the glorious Prophet

26. Wherever odes are sung and poems recited
And rememberers of Allah mentioned
