1. Praise be to Allah for what He has bestowed
And praise befits the Praiseworthy more so

2. The Book has come to dispel all my sorrows
And take away the confusion from my heart along with distress

3. It has delighted my eyes with what it contains
And picked from its fresh, ripe fruits

4. Every beautiful kind - figs, peaches, melons and pomegranates
And every exceptional, splendid flower and light

5. Roses, myrtle, camphor and basil
A garden that has no equal or match

6. Surpassing all others of its kind
So how could it not be so when it is a Book articulated by a knowledge

7. An honoured imam, noble scholar, and divine sage
The eminent master son of eminent masters

8. Among the foremost in asceticism and gnosis
Magnify him, his lovers and companions

9. This text is not speculation or estimation
Eyes of the jurist al-Husayn, the discreet son of the respectable Abu al-Af'if

10. O delightful one from honey and manna
Resident of Mecca, protected, dwelling in it

11. Mother of cities, refuge of the frightened fugitive
Magnify it among cities where many verses descended

12. From Allah, recited with the Quran
People come to it from all directions

13. Yearning for it like the camel yearns for its home
In the House of my Lord, a direction was made

14. For worshippers, with reverence and kindness
The rituals were established there and the Mash'ar

15. For Hajj - blessed are its inhabitants!
