1. O Lord whose custom is benevolence
We ask you for concealment, O Beautiful One

2. To you my Lord is my refuge and escape
Save the one whose sin is grave

3. My Lord has called you to me, most beloved drink
So pardon the abject slave

4. O Forgiver of mistakes and sins
And wrongdoing and tremendous burden

5. I ask you to forgive, O All-Forgiving, my Beloved
And heal my severe wound

6. I complain to you, O Lord, of my faults
My heart has become sick because of them

7. So reform my heart, Lord, before it is ruined
And save the feeble body

8. And favor me with a truthful, correct repentance
That reforms all matters

9. With it our state becomes good
And all evil is averted

10. And we see no disgrace or scandal
And arrogance does not tempt us

11. We only anguish when we draw near to you
With virtuous knowledge and deed

12. And make us walk the way of the generous Prophet
Of sublime character and tremendous nature

13. We walk your path, the most upright
Upon the straight bridge

14. That we may come to you on the greatest, most magnificent day
With an uncorrupted heart

15. In the shade of the one who is brought near to you
That noble guiding Prophet
