1. There is nothing in my deeds that impresses,
And whoever says otherwise is lying,

2. I only hope for my Lord,
To bestow repentance upon the sinner,

3. Through it one attains comfort,
For all that I fear disappears,

4. A sincere and accepted repentance,
In it is bliss, healing, and remedy,

5. With it I attain all my wishes,
Nothing more virtuous or generous.
