1. I complain to the One, the Merciful
Of what sorrows have befallen me

2. And worries, griefs, troubles
Afflictions, adversities, and pains

3. I do not raise my complaints to anyone but God
Glory be to Him, the Benevolent, the Benefactor

4. And none can help but Him
Whether He is your beloved or glory

5. If I stay silent, His knowledge suffices
Glory be to my Lord, the Magnificent

6. But still I pray in my poverty
Though I am helpless and weak

7. May relief come to me soon
For I am filled with sorrow

8. But still I have good hope in God
That He will send me relief now

9. And I will attain what I wish and hope for
Even beyond what man asks

10. No servant who sought his Lord was denied
Glory to Him, the One, the Tender

11. O Lord, O Lord, O Lord
O Lord, remove this distress

12. O You who, when someone is tried,
Relieve it now, O Merciful

13. My Creator, You know my state
Relieve it now, O Merciful

14. And be for Your servant in all his states
That he may be in Your good pleasure

15. Make his matter easy without hardship
And do not let his enemies rejoice over him

16. Grant me good and blessings
And be with him wherever he may be

17. O You who are near to relief, relieve
This one who sorrow has confined

18. I have no one but You, my God
Your eternal bounty and care

19. Enough, You are enough for me, my God
All-Knowing, Benevolent Benefactor

20. I have rejected all other strength
And built my affairs on complete reliance

21. Upon You who holds all destinies
And in whose hand is bounty and favor

22. I hope You will immerse me in Your grace
Though I am abundant in disobedience

23. And that You send me immediate relief
Abundant, ample, magnificent

24. What never occurred to me
Out of Your pure kindness and care

25. O You of Majesty and Generosity
Say what I asked, and make it be

26. Soon, immediate, out of pure kindness
Not for my deeds or raving

27. O Lord, make our ending good
For all whose time has come

28. Then send blessings upon the Chosen One

29. And his family, companions, and peace
Upon them as long as the flags flutter
