If the affairs of this world are set right, and you are given primacy first

2. Entrust the matter to the Merciful, in heart and speech
And beware, beware of saying "if only" or "if not"

3. Travel with it, O Shadhili, you will never see any terror
And know that you are a subjugated servant, and Allah is the Master

4. You have no power at all, never at all any might
So be silent, be silent, be humble before the Almighty
