1. Know that patience leads to success,
And hardship is paired with ease.

2. Relief comes after adversity, this is certain,
So await it as the narrators have told.

3. If you wish for joy, serenity and happiness,
Entrust your affairs to the All-Forgiving.

4. Be content with your Lord and you will win His approval,
Thank the Most Merciful and you will enjoy His guardianship.

5. He who has wronged you cannot harm you,
Or if he has harmed you, he is not free of faults, O wise one!

6. Believe this and be a repentant servant,
Hope in your Master and fear none but Him.

7. Thank the Glorious Lord and you will receive more from Him,
Do not cling to the slaves,

8. They are weak, so leave this lowly world.
Raise your ambitions to the Most High, the Exalted.
