1. Peace be upon the people of beautiful thoughts,
And the people of purity, people of sound hearts.

2. People of loyalty who forgive those who wronged them,
Who observe the ethics of brotherhood and love.

3. So blessed is the servant who walks in their path,
And emulates them, even if only in some ways.

4. They are the people whose company brings no misery,
Their love saves one on Judgment Day.

5. For their sake, O Lord, bless us with what
You have granted them of sheer grace and favor.

6. To You we incline, hopeful that You,
O Giver of abundant gifts, will favor us.

7. If we faltered, our Lord, in our affairs,
None can aid us but You; I trust not my might nor power.

8. I disavow my own might, gains and power,
That I should gain any good through my deeds or schemes.

9. My God, my King, my Creator, do not leave me
To myself or others, may every tribulation pass me by.

10. So be for me, my God, in all my affairs,
In religion, worldly matters, and in every state.

11. Grant me success, guide and rectify all, lead us,
And conclude for us with goodness when death comes.

12. These verses were composed by the advisor
Named Abdullah bin Salamah.

13. He came with verses petitioning for prayer
And telling of, complaining of many sins.

14. So we ask our Master for him and us
That the Owner of Majesty grant us repentance.

15. With it we may erase all sins,
And with it rise above in every state.

16. With it we don be all good, righteousness and grace,
And with it protect ourselves from every fear and tribulation.

19. With it all turbidity is lifted from us,
With it all hardness is lifted from us.

20. With it the heart that, if rectified, rectifies
All other things of every trait, is rectified.

21. You must rectify the heart and guard it
From corruptions, sins and heedlessness.

22. And make the heart full of good, piety
And remembrance, sound understanding and conviction.

23. And be silent of all superfluities,
Speaking only good, otherwise be silent.

24. And be constant in God’s remembrance at all times,
Persevere upon it at every instant and moment.

25. And be thankful to God inwardly and outwardly,
So you may attain the Lord’s increase.

26. And seek knowledge and act by it, so you may
Attain God’s success in reaching guidance.

27. Thus for every good, do not fail to attain it,
For through striving every lofty state is attained.

28. My God, bestow upon us all that we asked,
And increase Your highest gift upon us.

29. And rectify the heart, You know best its ills
And diseases, O Knower of the unseen.

30. For the sake of the chosen Prophet, the guide
Through whom we hope You fulfill every need.

31. Blessings of God upon him, then peace,
And his supporters, his family and companions.

32. And with praise to God, the Generous, its conclusion,
To You praise, O Lord, for every blessing.
