1. The worst of doctrines is the doctrine of tribes
It kills the innocent without sin unknowingly

2. And the people of Aad all became evils
Forbidden gain for which they have no justifications

3. In sacred law it meets them and fights them
Rejoicing not returning to the words of any sayer

4. His tribe in injustice for him argues
We do not deny immorality nor strive

5. Can this deed be approved by one rational?
No, by the All-Dominant even if he be ignorant

6. He knows not duty nor virtues
So beware, do not be like them or interact

7. And whoever resembles them in traits
Must enter into their domains

8. As one wise elder has said
Beards shaved in this time are prevalent

9. Blessed is the servant among people silent
Knowledgeable and practicing the sciences

10. For good deeds occupied and preoccupied
Devout and from superfluities inclined away

11. Following the path of the early ancestors
Like the companions, each perfect

12. Whoever emulates their ways in deeds
And speech, states and pursuits

13. Is in every state to God a petitioner
Fearing and hopeful, seeking the means

14. Weeping for his sin with flowing tears
Humbled and submitting away from his passions lost

15. Silent and quiet from all worthless talk
Speaking truth, fearing no blamer

16. Remembering in the early dawn and nightfalls
Thankful to his Lord, accepting advice

17. This is the winner of every struggle
Oh our Lord, Oh Bestower of gifts pouring

18. And whose grace for contingencies continues
We ask You for repentance removing evils

19. And inhabiting the pillars with virtues
And show us not, Oh Generous, severity

20. And forgive us, our family and kinsmen
And our branches and early roots

21. For the station of Taha, seal of messengers
The prayers of my Lord count each rainfall

22. With greetings as long as gale winds blow
Upon him and his excellent comrades

23. And progeny and wives
Of high stations
