1. She who wears a spot on her cheek cannot bear it
None can bear it but the generous faced Creator

2. Do you not see the birds wandering freely for their livelihood
They have no money nor do they enter markets

3. Except trusting in Allah their Creator and Provider
They wander hungry and spend the night tucked in their wings

4. So taste O spotty cheek the limit of bitterness on your lips
Whether it stays or its manners change

5. I do not covet you even if you line your eyes with kohl
For you have increased your harms and vexations

6. And in this time your flames have multiplied
Nothing remains in you but affliction for those who taste you
