1. To God I complain of what He knows better than I,
And that is the cause of my sin, so my Lord have mercy on me.

2. Grant me an accepted and valid repentance,
With which You lift all that has saddened me.

3. Please, my God and Master, please,
For none but You can help me out of my affliction.

4. Please, Kind of face, and bestow mercy,
With which from all troubles and grief You protect me.

5. For even if I am a sinner and a wrongdoer,
I have good faith in You that You will conceal me.

6. For You have shown kindness and granted me
Good things I had no right to or asked of You.

7. So my Lord, treat me with Your grace and guide me,
With Your favour forgive me and heal me.

8. And seal for us with good at our death,
And my God do not take me to account for my sins.

9. And bless, my God, at all times and hours,
And greetings to the guiding Prophet, the Chosen One.
