1. The feast has arrived with a smiling face,
Its purpose being that you live forever,

2. That you may live in eternal bliss,
And count it among your finest days.

3. Rejoice in it and delight in its rising,
Resolute in the past, authoritative in command.

4. It has come to you bearing good tidings,
Of whatever glory and life you desire.

5. Delegation follows delegation competitively,
As the thirsty seek places of rainfall,

6. And the vast splendid field is crowded,
Like waves meeting waves in the sea.

7. As if the shining palace, when
Your halo like the full moon has shone in it,

8. Upon the horizon of the throne, abundant with people,
They find in your mercy what an only child finds in his kind father,

9. And they see all the people in your kingdom,
And they see all the land in your palace.

10. Abbas, O most precious of kings, hands,
And most honorable in the stance of pride,

11. No heart remains that you have not filled with yourself,
And settled therein the place of secret.

12. Love is never true unless it is in secret as it is openly,
You are safeguarded by the sublime, protecting and preserving you from the eyes of time,

13. You remained for the sublime, granting them,
You remained for kindness and righteousness.

14. Oh, would that I were what I hoped for,
And you granted me the fulfillment of my wishes,

15. You pardoned me the pardon of the Capable,
Though my sin surpassed pardoning and forgiveness,

16. Pardoning is most beautiful when
The sin is grave and lacks excuse.

17. So when can I give thanks for your manifest blessings,
When thanks themselves fall short?
