1. But I ask the Merciful for forgiveness
And a strike of perfect force that casts forth the foam,

2. Or a stab by hands burning, made ready
With a blade to pierce the guts and liver,

3. Until it’s said when they pass my grave:
“God guided him from one who went raiding and gave guidance.”
