2. The magical valley exhaled its scent,
Bewitching, was it musk so pure it breathed?

Watered by vales of bliss, flowing on thirsty sands.

7. Good tidings after despair, a promise after longing,
So beautiful, so majestic, so generous!

Arranging strands of light, artful and wise.

14. The doves sang at Dhu Al-Nayrainโ€™s abode,
Answered by a moon, pure and solemn.

15. It is the dwelling of the sage of this age, judge of its judges,
A noble Imam, before whom fortune camps.

16. Majestic, revered, refined and virtuous,
Generous his voice, shaming the rain if it held back.

17. A savior for the anguished, refuge for the frightened,
Solace for the aggrieved crying injustice.

20. Your justice has spread through every land,
Aiding Sham and taking up the cause of the oppressed.

21. I came seeking your lofty threshold, as time
Had wronged me, leaving me no recourse but your door.

23. Perhaps my Master would have mercy on my plight,

25. A soul that sees asking for aid as disgrace,
Save that it hopes for your generosity to bloom.

26. For you are the seal of eloquence, the consummate end;
And your munificence, O sea of virtues, runs deep.
