1. I bear witness, for I have witnessed the splendor of his beauty,
Radiant, outshining the full moon at its peak.

2. And knowledge, like a towering mountain, attributed to eloquence
That surpasses the sweetest, most delicious streams.

3. And superiority over the Romans is evident in his success,
As their admission of his blessings attests.

4. Among them he is like the full moon on the night it is brightest,
Beauty that turns eyes away, the light of his majesty blinding.

5. He surpassed them in knowledge, forbearance, and rectitude,
And sound opinion in all his deeds.

6. O Master, your generosity exceeds the clouds'
When they pour down, at the height of their outpouring.

7. At your door, tears have become my petition,
Call unto you, so do not reject his request.

8. And favor the interpretation of the Imam who ascended
To the pulpit of verification in his sayings.

9. I mean the Shaykh of fatwas, Abu al-Su'ud -
May God water him - aid his family.

10. And lodge him in the Firdaws, to drink its wine
Concluded with the seal of the Prophets and his lineage.
