1. O answerer of the supplication of the owner of the fish,
In the stillness of the seas,

2. Respond to the call of the grieved one,
Who has supplicated desperately,

3. My God, for long have I been praying,
Certain of salvation,

4. And for my state and my story I have raised,
To you my Master,

5. You are the giver and withholder,
You are You are the God,

6. To you belongs the command of “Be” and it is,
And to you belongs power,

7. You save me from my darkness,
So with the land, the land,

8. Tamer of the sea, You are with might,
You are best of helpers,

9. Restrain the opponent and spare me its evil,
And fulfill for me the purpose,

10. Lord, make his destruction a lesson,
For all Your servants,

11. And make him taste the gentle torment,
And pelt him with destruction,

12. Lord, ruin the seduced among the people,
In the ruin of dwellings,

13. Lord, replace my hardship with ease,
And grant me acceptance,

14. With abundant beautiful ease,
To which I can arrive,

15. Lord, open doors of my relief,
And fulfill for me the entrance,

16. Into my wishes make my eye delighted,
You are Good to Your servant.
