30. It retreated toward its den, returning
Like the lions' reversal when their cubs howled.

31. To a sea armored with iron
So it made it drink its torrents.

32. And they said, "Here, Constantine, take it
And save it from much of its trouble."

33. So he raised his ghosts against them
And it threw them to the revolving heaven.

With the lightness of its swords a heavy load.

35. The skulls and the valleys mingled

57. Your ransom is whoever you ransomed from perdition,
Even if they were few to be ransomed.

58. You created them a new creation,
And you made generosity responsible for them.

59. With its beauty, it increases the world radiance,
And the eyes of kings by it are delighted.

60. And I have not seen a day like this day,
Repelling the horsemen of days inclined.

61. It forgot it, so the sun shunned distance,
And remembered it, so the withering hurried.

62. If you came and the kings altogether
You rose as clarity and they rose confused.

63. The one among them most deserving to spend wealth on us
Is a lad who stays up late with his mind wandering.

64. And the foremost of them to be called generous
Is a lad who gives hopes and minds.

65. He grazed the garden of tongues eagerly,
Deeming his life meager and fleeting.

66. Its structure shows you every day
Stabbing enlivening and the call of war.

67. And a merit that time benefits from
Of noble nature and beautiful manners.

68. He sees the Nile, fulfilled from him a promise,
And the gifts hasten him to speak.

69. He makes every bold one a coward
And makes every giver stingy.

70. I asked time about what I said of it
But the turns of time did not say “no” to me.
