Then the turning away of harm has no rival for him

22. A young man whose wealth impassioned his attainment
As his swords impassioned his shoulders

A flood of his assistance pours with rain

24. As for you, tribe of Shayban, whose houses
Towering atop the highest stars

25. To it look the beholders, their eyes
To avert fate or wait for attainment

26. If the frightened seek the refuge of your might
Your whips become for them like fortresses

27. Obeyed, hitting the wicked’s eye
Obeyed, bestowing without burdens

28. When the horses neigh their neigh and you find them
Sitting atop their shoulders leisurely

29. Sometimes vivifying with talk and sometimes
Made to drink clear, limpid drinks

30. When you are absent from it and a great fear befalls it
So who will rise to repel it with fortresses

31. And who will fruit the hopes of every hopeful
And who will carry the burdens from every carrier

32. And who will avoid the rulers’ edge with his edge
And who will place the crowns above the pillars

33. O King whom frowns gather the events of grave affairs
My soul is yours, if you accept it as redemption

34. For you are of gentle affection, beautiful traits
I saw what the horses submit to in his name

35. When heroes call is there anyone settling
When the mighty, mighty armies throw their neighbors

He tasted what excites the honorable man

Devout whom abstains from food for his knowledge

61. That food becomes evil of evils
You see him in ease and riches

62. Preparing for ordeals preparations of the patient
Like a light kindled flint on the day of wager

63. He dazzles every gambler with it
When the steeds flowed on their bodies

64. Vehemence stripped the smooth garment
Advancing and withdrawing what wavers and boldness

65. Like the sword in the grip of revolting guardian
More audacious than the family of the Prophet, his forehead

66. Sun of day wandering eye of onlooker
Raiding luxury clothes and sometimes

67. Raiding thin clothes of departing camp
Trade with God in his prayers

68. And righteousness threading path of prosperity
O son of Ghadanfar from Tha’laba of Hashim

69. And son of Caliphs the Elder over Elder
And son of those who have Zamzam’s water rights

70. Beyond kin and every supporter
The victors in safekeeping every virtue

71. And the prideful of every pride
A people when they tired of their steeds' backs

72. They rode sedan chairs and pulpits
When they unsheathed their swords for an abomination

73. They remain between competitor spear
They ruled lands and their raids

74. Shook what is between prospering and ruin
Collected to them levy of every peninsula

75. In palm of the abundant, copious sea
You whom God revived by His justice

76. Ways of Scripture and every lost right
While people are of obeyed rule and leadership

77. Yours is sphere revolved and you are its axis
You spend your day bettering its affairs

78. And night guarding them with sleepless eyelid
Glory to Whom by you avowed of their wronged

79. And sufficed them injustice of unjust ruling
So may my soul ransom you from plague of time

80. Blood of talent utterly preoccupied
Shows affection while in his gut a knot

81. That hid like box of roaring Phoenician
O a resident, Najd's winds blew harmfully

82. The milkmaid milked their skins in pot

90. And by fortune the flight of auspicious bird ran to him
As if I envision his army in troops

91. Routing the fighters with stabbing blade
