1. We stood in the abodes of the tribe of Adiyy
And those are abodes forsaken by hopes

2. If it had the power, it would become
Tears in the disasters and the eyelids

3. I remind my she-camel of the spreading of aroma
So it makes me happy at the return of yearning

4. May Allah make right the time and its states
The struggles of living in it and death

5. And if I tasked my worries besides my determination
I would leave the sword to collect my debts
